Stamps & Fill & Sign

I am having problems with being able to use the stamp options and the fill & sign option together.

I am placing a custom stamp on a scanned pdf document, they using fill & sign to type text into the body of the stamp.  When I go to save or print I can only see either the stamp (no text in body) or the text (no stamp).  When I select in print options to print 'Document & Markups', it shows the stamp only, when I select in the print option only 'Document' it shows the the text (no stamp). I am assuming that I need to flatten the pdf somehow to be able to see both.

I am only using the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
