the new version of the pdf reader sucks

I don't like the new update of the PDF reader, I prefer the previous version which was simpler. It is annoying to have to use the magnifying glass to enlarge the page and then have the enlarge or reduce box appear next to the tab to download the page. I liked the previous version, I hope you update it and it's like before.

To go back to the old UI click the Options button at the top left corner (Windows) or open the View menu (Mac) and select Disable New Acrobat.

Thank you. I have found the new version to be way overboard "salesy." That's fine to give your users a path to purchase enhanced features, but when my productivity gets interrupted by your sales attempts, I start to get irritated. (Just sayin'.)

Update: The button is now under Menu and it simply says "disable new acrobat"

Sorry - this doesn't work. The app keeps restarting in the new and not-improved version. I really really hate it that the snapshot tool is gone in the new version, and there's no way to bring up the toolbars.

Thank you! The new version was incredibly unintuitive and I'm staggered that it was ever allowed to be released. Whatever happened to usability testing before release.  😞

The new update is awful. Thank goodness there is still an option to return to the old version. Terrified they will remove that option one day and we'll be forced to use the "updated" version, which is just a worse version of the current one  with the panes swapped and everything is harder to use. Adobe, please don't do it!
