Hi there,
I often make notes on my PDF's and recently I made notes to a PDF and the next day I opened the document and all the note icons are still there, but when I double-click on each individual note all the content is gone. They are just blank notes! I lost all my notes on the PFD and the weirdest thing is that the notes are still all over the document but when I open them there is no content inside.
This is extremely furstrating because I lost all of my notes. Is there a way to recover the content of the notes so that when I double-click I see actual writing?

Hi Roses,
We apologize for the delay in response to your query.
As shared above that you often add notes to the PDF files. I assume that this might be the only pdf where you have experienced this problem of "Missing Content" from the notes?
If you are still experiencing the same problem, then you may check couple of things for testing purpose.
1- Check with any other file, try adding notes and see if those disappeared too?
2- Check the update of Adobe Reader DC, we have the latest patch released- Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader
make sure that your application has the latest version installed.
3- Check the commenting preferences, if any thing that has been changed or it shouldn't be. Acrobat Reader>Edit>Preferences>Commenting.
