Dear all, as per the subject.
My laptop OS: Windows 10 Pro
My Adobe Reader version is 23.006.20320
Affected user: Three
Troubleshooting steps: Re-install the Adobe Reader. To ensure I was using the updated version.
Observation: I tried opening the same file by different methods. Edge, Chrome browser, Foxit Reader, and PDF24 can all open the file. Only Adobe Reader is getting the subject error.
I would appreciate any help you can provide.
Best regards
SK Ng

PDF viewers often repair quite a number of PDF errors while loading a PDF.. Different viewers repair different errors. It looks like your PDF is damaged in a way that Adobe Acrobat does not repair but many other viewers do.
Theoretically this could also be due to some bug in Acrobat. To make sure, we'd need the file in question for analysis.

Hello @MikelKlink, Thanks for getting back to my post. It's a quote for a customer, so I can't share the doc publicly. Only some PDF docs from the particular creator are having this issue. My last call is the creator using Adobe DC Pro to edit the quote. I'm still trying to find out more information.

Have you asked the source of those particular pdfs whether they can open the pdfs in Adobe Acrobat Reader? If they can (and they also use the current Reader version), the way they send their pdfs to you may be the problem. If they cannot, they clearly should search for the problem at their site.

I doubt that the act of editing itself introduces the error. But it may well be connected. E.g. editing might increase the size of the pdf to a level that the channel they use to transfer the pdf to you cannot handle.
