top command bar disappears when maximized

I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC & Windows 10. This just started today, randomly. When I open any pdf and it is maximized, the top inch of the window seems to not function. The inch is still showing as part of the adobe window, but distorted. If I click on any of the tabs, or the minimize/maximize/close, it pulls whatever window I have open behind it up front. I went to the Help tab and "checked for updates", (installed one) this did not fix the problem. Then went back to help and "repaired installation". Again, did not help. I have found the short cut alt+space bar, which will allow me to restore the window so I can use the tabs, but this is only a temporary fix. The weirdest part is the window works, when maximized, on my second screen with no issues, but not my main laptop screen. Please help. Should I uninstall & reinstall?
