Trying to find the 'DC base (64-bit)' offline installer for Adobe Reader (64-bit).
Have found the updater .msp file and states install over 'DC base (64-bit)' but unable to find an offline installer that this .msp will update..

Have found various installers but this 'Reader' .msp will not update them.
Honestly it should be this hard. Any Adobe employees who know (not think it should) where I can find an offline installer that this Reader update will actually work on.

Hi @r_8450,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in about updating the app.

We have moved towards a more unified installer, where the app installer works according to the user's entitlement.

You can go ahead and update the app using the same link you shared above, and either ask the users to sign in to the application, which Acrobat would transform as per the entitlement, or use the Acrobat application to run in reduced mode as Acrobat Reader.

Hope this clarifies your question.

Regards,
Souvik.

We have somehow managed to have 3 different versions of Reader on various machines (Adobe Acrobat Reader 32-bit, Adobe Acrobat Reader 64-bit, Adobe Acrobat 64-bit). So we want to remove the 32-bit version of Reader and the Acrobat version and install the Adobe Acrobat Reader 64-bit, but we need the so we need the 'DC base (64-bit) offline installer. We are ok running the msp but need the correct base installer. It must exist somewhere..
I have used the public facing installer, but that installs Adobe Acrobat 64-bit and the msp updater for that is over 50% larger than the Reader version.. hence why we want to use the Reader version..

Hi @r_8450,

Thanks for writing in!

The installer is the same now for Reader and Acrobat since we moved to the unified package.

However, if you are looking for the Reader offline installer, you can get it from here: https://adobe.ly/3UooqVo

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Souvik.

But the unfidied package means we have to use the msp update for Adobe Acrobat 64-bit which is 50% larger than the Adobe Reader update, which is why I started this post..
ps.. the offline installer link is for the 32-bit version.. but I already have the Abode Acrobat 64-bit offline (just trying to find an old installer for Adobe Reader 64-bit still, someone out there must have an old copy?)

@r_8450,

Thanks for the clarification.

I might not have a direct resolution to this question.

However, I would leave the thread open for other users to chime in.

Souvik.
