Trying to get a book onto my KOBO

I have downloaded ADE 3.0 (and tried 4.5 but was told by a KOBO rep to try the 3.0).  I have a book from the Toronto Public Library in the ADE but there is no 'devices' option to drag the book to.  everything I've read says this should be under the Library tab.  It isn't working for me.  Any advice?

This is a forum for Adobe Acrobat Reader, (which you don't mention needing help with.)

What kind of file format is your book in? If it's a PDF, you can open in the Adobe Acrobat Reader. (the forum where you posted)

It might also be ePub, .mobi, or ePub3. I don't use Kobo, but according to their help page, they don't support ePub3.

Are you trying to view this on your Kobo or on a computer? There are several free viewers for computers In addition to ADE.

ADE stands for Adobe Digital Editions; it is not a file format.

Kobo does have its own Help page, and you might find better assistance there. But first find out the file format. My library lets me choose a format when I download books.
