Hi @Sachin25948329xmye

Hope you are doing good

Are you referring to enabling thumbnail preview on Windows Explorer? If yes, would you mind confirming the exact version of the Acrobat Reader DC you are working with?

This help article describes the exact steps to be performed to get the Windows thumbnail preview enabled. https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/enable-pdf-thumbnail-preview-windows-explorer.html

Note:
If you don't see the Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer checkbox, update your Acrobat DC or Acrobat Reader DC to the latest version. To automatically update the product, choose Help > Check for updates and then follow the steps in the Updater window to download and install the latest updates. Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader

We have also noticed that you did mention about Ebook above. To open Ebook, there's an application called Adobe Digital Edition, an ebook reader supporting these files. Reader DC won't help you to open a .epub file.

Thanks,
Akanchha

Hi Akanchha ,

I have already enabled Thumbnail preview from General tab in Preference menu of Acrobat.

I have recently installed Acrobat DC version Continous Release | Version 2022.002.20191 | 64 bit

( Core version 22.512).

I have even tried checking for update but it says "No update available" as latest version is already installed.

One thing more when I am trying to update window getting 0x80070057  error.

Please help.

Thanks,

Sachin

Thanks for confirming

Can you check once again whether you have got the latest Windows update or not? Error 0x80070057 represents that you have pending updates from MS that are not installed.

When enabling Thumbnail Preview for Windows Explorer, here, both Acrobat and MS Windows updates play an essential role.

If you continue receiving the same error, please contact MS Support for the same.

Thanks,

Akanchha
