Iam using WINDOWS-10

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (17.009.20044)

Iam trying to fill an interactive form with some tick/radio buttons in it.

Now, when i click/tick on the radio button, the interactive-form should provide an option to add-attachments to the pdf-form, but it's not happening.

why Iam unable to add attachments to my interactive pdf form ?

Hi IndianConstructionCompany,

In order to add attachment to the form you need to click on the "Comment" tool and then a menu bar at the top would be highlighted.

Click on the attachment icon>attach file, it might take a while to open the folder location so wait for few seconds and then you should be able to attach the file in it.

You may refer to the help document for the detailed description- Links and attachments in PDFs, Adobe Acrobat

If it still does't work then you may check the document properties, Right click on file>Document Properties

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Akanchha

As it says in the first file, commenting is not allowed. This may not be welcome but it does not seem corrupt. My guess is that the document's creator "reader enabled" the file to allow some other action, and so they blocked commenting (and attachments in Reader). Complain, if appropriate, to the form creator, or use Acrobat Pro to remove the enabling.

well,

both the pdf form properties mention - "commenting is not allowed" (as you can see in the screenshots)

although, iam able to add attachments in one of them (2nd screenshot)

but unable to add attachments to the other pdf form (1st screenshot)

I have already e-mailed the form provider.

(it's a Government Agency, so possibly they are not going to reply..... xD)

So, in the one which allows you to add an attachment, what steps do you follow? Are you doing something other than commenting?
