Unable to copy/paste in Reader DC

I've run into an issue where I can't seem to copy/paste from PDFs opened in Reader DC reliably. It works, sometimes, but more often then not it fails. It's not that I can't copy/paste anywhere, and I can select the text just fine. It even shows that something is being put on the clipboard, but when I go to paste it's completely blank. I have found that if I search for the text, use that highlight to copy, and paste that works, but that's pretty convoluted.

Has anyone else ever seen this issue? No one else at my company is having this issue. We run on an RDS server so everyone is using the same install of Adobe. I've already checked the security settings and the copy/paste allowance is turned on.

Hi Vandersteen,

As mentioned above, so are you referring to a particular document or you have been experiencing this problem with all the files?

Checked the document properties and see whether you have permission to copy the content or not?

Open Document >Right click> Properties>Security

Also, the document you are referring here is that a scanned document? And what is the exact version of the Acrobat Reader you are working on?

Launch application>Help>About Acrobat

If you are experiencing this problem with multiple documents, kindly send some sample files to us. So that we will test it at our end to check whether its a document specif problem or application.

I searched Abraham and there were 250 instances found by advanced search. I highligted all but when I tried to copy and paste It did not work.

Again, what does it say under the Security tab of the Properties dialog? Is "Content Copying" allowed?
