Unable to Disable Tab view in DC reader

I have gone through all the instructions in other forum posts and I am unable to disable the tab feature in DC reader, windows 10..... I uncheck the box, click ok and restart and the box is checked off again. I tried to run is admin, with the same result

When the box is not checked where is the problem?
