unable to download adobe reader

I keep getting an error message that says adobereaderdc_en_cra_ install.exe is already installed on my pc however it is not. how can I resolve this issue? I try to uninstall it but it is not showing up in my control panel to uninstall.

Perhaps you've downloaded (not installed yet) adobereaderdc_en_cra_ install.exe?

May I suggest a deep search for the mentioned file? Maybe you'll find it laying somewhere creating confusion on the Creative Cloud installing system.

Have you tried to re-install the CC app, too?
