Unable to insert files into Adobe Reader X

Hi

I'm looking to insert another file into a PDF using the paperclip feature, however i don't seem to have the option available to me under the Comment / Annotations ribbon as the insert paperclip isn't there.

I'm running

Windows 7 Enterprise SP1

Adobe Reader X 10.1.16

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The feature is available in Adobe Reader X when the PDF file was enabled for this:

Adobe Acrobat Reader doesn't have that ability. The full version of Acrobat does.

Do you know if there a free version which can do this which i could use in a corporate environment ?

Adobe doesn't have a free option to do this, no. Sorry.

I have Acrobat Reader DC installed on my own laptop which allows me to attach files using the paper clip feature. Is this purely down to the reader x version i have installed?
