Unable to sign PDF while in FIPS mode. Already disabled FIPS through registry

Question

I keep getting the error "the document could not be saved. use of non fips cryptography is not permitted while in fips mode".

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\AVGeneral\bFIPSMode is set to ( 0 )

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\AVGeneral\bFIPSMode is set to ( 0 )

Any ideas ?

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

The error/issue occurs due to the installed app's read and write permissions. Please ensure the installed Acrobat Reader app has full permissions. Also, see if the problem occurs with a particular document, as it might document a specific issue.
