Unable to use "combine files" tool in PDF pack

Hello,

When I click "combine files" and then select a file using the "drag and drop files" screen, the screen immediately goes gray and nothing more happens no matter how long I wait.  I am only able to combine files by canceling the drag and drop screen and using the "upload files" tool.  This has happened dozens of times.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Jeffrey,

I am sorry for the trouble you had, please reboot the machine once and try combining the files by drag and drop method using a different browser like Chrome or Firefox or Safari and check.

I tried adding 3 multi-page PDF files using drag and drop method on Chrome and I was able to add the files and it gives me the option to Combine the files, see the screenshot:

If possible, clear the cookies and cache of the browser you are using and check again.

Have you tried with different files? If not please try. The files you are trying to combine, are they saved locally or on a network/shared drive?

Save the files locally and then try drag and drop and check.

Let us know how it goes and share your observation.

I have tried all of the suggestions and have not been able to use the "Combine Files" function.  I am able to combine files for first uploading them but that adds an extra step.  When I click "Combine Files" to access this screen:

Then I add a file and the screen turns gray:

Then nothing else happens.  No file uploads and the screen remains gray.
