Dec 07, 2022 Dec 07, 2022

Hello community,

As everyone around here, we use Acrobat Reader a lot and also our customers.

Is there maybe a mail notification or RSS feed or anything else that we can subscribe to so we knoe when new version of Acrobat Reader is out.

Tnx in advance

Hi @Vuk27471496uvt7

Thanks for reaching out.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is set up for automatic updates by default. It does not provide any UI option in the preferences to control this setting.

IT Administrators can control the update settings using the Adobe Customization Wizard or the Windows Registry.

To install Adobe Reader and Acrobat updates from Adobe Updater, do the following:

  1. Launch Adobe Reader or Acrobat.
  2. Choose Help > Check for Updates.

For information about the latest version and to keep track of it, see the Release Notes.

Thanks,

Akanchha

Hello Akanchha,

Tnx for the answer. Still, the question is, without using your proposed way, is there some type of notification, like subscribing or maybe RSS feed that will inform us Adobe released a new version of Acrobat Reader.

Lets say we are using Adobe Reader version 1 and then your comapny releases version 2, are you sending maybe mail that new release is up or maybe some RSS feed, or anything else 🙂

Regards

Vuk
