I'm attempting to upload a resume in pdf format to an employer's website. Instead of uploading the specified pdf file, my entire "downloads" file was uploaded. Luckily I double checked the uploaded pdf file before I submiited the resume. I tried creating a file for the pdf on my desk top and uploading it, but the same thing happened again. Please advise!!! Thank you.
right; my entire My Downloads FOLDER is uploading. When uploading the pdf,
I click on the individual pdf file, by name, within my downloads folder.
The name of the correct individual pdf file appears on the website
correctly. I double click on the uploaded file, just to make sure, and my
entire "My Downloads" folder appears on the employer's website. It looks
exactly like it does in my computer - exactly.
I'm not comfortable taking screen shots or uploading anything to a public
site.

You must save the file to the "My Downloads" folder. Then you can open it with Acrobat Reader.
