I have a PDF which if pre filled from another source then sent to vendors outside of our firewall, then returned to my team behind the firewall. A button on the form concantonates the variables and record ID that generated the PDF. The string then creates a URL with can be opened to launch the record that created the PDF. The data then populates field on the source web record allowing us to get a complete record via using the pdf has data transport method. Recently after 400 plus returned forms we started to notoce missing data. It appears that the pdf is limiting the length of the variable (url) string to around 1048 characters. Anyone experience anthhing like this?
