Users Getting Invalid Plugin Error

New Here ,

We use an application called Encompass that uses Acrobat Reader DC to view PDF's. Currently, users will sproadically get the below error while viewing a PDF.

After they get this message, the can usually view the same document again and it works normally. Any idea which plugin could be causing the error? Also, are there any adverse performance consequences to just deleting or renaming the plugins folder under Program Files (x86)?

Yes, if you rename the plug-ins folder, which typically holds lots of Adobe plug-ins, Reader won't work.
