I am currently running Acrobat X Pro but the default reader is Reader DC.

I would like to delete the DC Version and only use the X Pro version. Not sure what to do?

Hi tj_arizona,

You can simply uninstall the Adobe Reader DC from the control panel.

Once the application is uninstalled, you can set the Acrobat X as the default PDF viewer.

To make the application as default to view PDF, open control panel > Default Programs > Associate a file type or protocol with a program.

Select ".pdf" from the list and click on change program at top right.

Then select Acrobat X from the list provided in the pop-up window and click OK to save settings.

Once the changes were done, close the window.

Let us know if you need any help.

Regards,

Meenakshi
