Using Adobe Reader XI, Can't seem to e-sign my document.

Hi I can't seem to sign my PDF document. The "Tool", "Sign" tabs are clickable but I in the menu the ink signature or any other type of signature menu is disabled. I can't seem to find out what the problem is. Please help TT Thanks a lot.

Hi 보미서,

As you have mentioned above that the signature option is disabled, please check the document properties of the document.

To check document properties, open the PDF and go to File  > Properties > Security. Check the document restrictions applied to PDF.

I would also suggest you that to use the latest version of the application.

Adobe Reader XI is an old and unsupported version.

You can install the latest version of the application from here Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Check if you can sing the document in the latest version of the application.

If you still experience the issue, please share the screenshot of the document restrictions summary.

To add the screenshot here, please use the insert icon provided in the reply window as shown below:

Once you click on this icon, you get a small window.

Click on Insert Image and then browse the location where you have saved the screenshot file.

Select the file and click on Open > Insert Image.

Also, check if you experience this issue with the particular PDF. Try signing other PDF and check if the option is available or not.
