Visio 2010 hyperlinks not working when converting to PDF

Hi
I use MS Visio 2010 to create business process maps and then convert them to PDF to publish on our internal management system. I create hyperlinks in Visio so that users can move easily between the different pages of the process maps but sometimes one or more of the hyperlinks is not carried across to the PDF. I've tried updating to the latest version of Acrobat and creating a new version of the Visio process map having deleted and re-created all the hyperlinks. I've also tried turning off the 'Relative Hyperlinks' option in Visio.
Has anyone else had the same issue and managed to fix it?
Many thanks in advance
Gary

Hi
Thank you for your quick response.
The version is 2017.011.30080 and we are running Windows 7 (still!!). I'm afraid I can't send you the file for security reasons but if you can identify any potential fixes from the information supplied I will be very grateful.
I spoke to a colleague who was having the same issue and their solution is to avoid creating any hyperlinks in the original Visio drawing until they are happy that is the final version before converting to PDF. It appears that the problem may occur when updates to the sub-address hyperlinks have been made within the original Visio so I would be interested if anyone else has reported similar behaviour.
Thanks once again
Gary
