Which Acrobat version are you using - - paid Acrobat Pro or free Acrobat Reader, and the version number please?

Sorry for the trouble.
Adding to the information asked by Nancy, you may try the below steps on either version of Acrobat installed.
Go to Preferences-> General-> Under the heading stated Application Startup, uncheck the option saying "Use Only certified Plug-ins."
**Note: This above step assumes you already have the required plug-in installed on your computer.

Não consegui desativar, assim que realizo o procedimento informado acima, aparece a mensagem: "Para carregar quaisquer plug-ins presentes não certificados, saia e reinicie o Adobe Acrobat."
Feito isso, reiniciando ainda sim, não é possivel desativar.

Hello, in Task manager you have to allow FileOpen Client Broker. Probably you have disabled it.

Where do we find Task Manager as given in the third report, and where do we find Preferences as given in the second reply?

Go to settings/then Apps. Click adobe acrobat/ Click Modify/ Click Next/ Click on repair then next and lastly install and this should get you fixed. This fixed the plug in error on mine. Hope this helps.
