Web browser tells me to download latest version, but I have it?

I keep getting a

I have google chrome and the latest version Adobe Reader installed. What is wrong?

You would normally get this message from a browser that isn't compatible with the Adobe Reader plug-in. They use their own pdf viewers and most of them do not work well especially with pdf forms (or any interactive pdf).

Try right-clicking, saving to your computer and using File>Open from within Reader itself.
