Recently, I've not been able to click on links within a PDF document as I normally have been doing for years.....Removed and re-installed reader, set the trust settings to enable all internet access.....Of course machines update all the time, running Win 7, only other odd thing in Firefox is all the bookmarks, header icons were greyed out with a pic of the world....If I click the link again, the icon returns.....strange stuff.....
The PDF doc links work fine on other machines.....
All suggestions appreciated!!!

Hi Mark,
Thanks for reporting the issue. It would really help if you could share the version of Reader and Firefox at which you are facing this issue, along with a screenshot.
Thanks,
Sumita

Hi Sumita,
Firefox version is 55.0.2 (32bit)
Adobe Reader is 2017.012.20095
Thanks.....have deleted and re-installed both, same thing...web links that used to work, no longer work...they just sit there and do nothing when the hand clicks the link, win 7....I can roll back stuff, but we have security updates, .net updates, etc...hard to know what can be causing this issue.......
thanks

I'm not sure what update broke it exactly but I guess you should probably check your preferences. Go to Edit>Preferences>General>Basic tools and be sure that "Create links from URL's" is checked. Even if it is, uncheck it then check it again and restart Reader.

Add the links with Adobe Acrobat.

Hi all,
We are aware of this issue introduced with the latest update of Acrobat Reader. We are working on a fix and will confirm once available.
Thanks,

It would probably be best to follow along with this thread (located a few down from yours at the moment): Adobe Reader DC not opening hyperlinks

Same issue here. Problem occurs since update to Acrobat Reader DC Version 2017.012.20095.
Links could be clicked before (and can be clicked with other pdf readers), now it just doesn't work anymore. This is a very serious issue for us...

The files probably have just links that were being recognized as links by the Reader application rather than having actual hyperlinks that were added using Adobe Acrobat. It appears that the recognize links option in the latest version of Reader has broken this ability, at least temporarily.
