I have right-clicked up in the toolbar area, and have selected to show all the File, Edit, Page Navigation, Page Display and Select & Zoom tools.  I still do not see any Select (arrow) tool.  So I cannot select and copy any text.

Help!

Thanks for replying! In writing you to describe more about my situation, I figured it out.

Before I was looking in:

View

- Show / Hide

- - Toolbar Items and the 5 sub menus it has

Then I found it in:

View

- Show / Hide

- - Page Controls

- - - Show Page Controls

Now the Select (arrow), Move (hand) and other controls appear at the bottom of the screen when I move my mouse to that area

There is also an "Undock" option, which I thought might make them appear permanently in the top toolbar, but that made these tools disappear and not come back, so I'm not sure what the purpose of that function is yet.

So I turned "Undock" off, so that they are in the "dock" when I move my mouse to that area.

The first Select And Zoom tool is the select (arrow) tool. If you don't see it maybe you have enabled too many tools.

If you want to adjust the toolbar, right click on the toolbar. It looks as if this is also duplicated in the menu, but a lot is no longer in the menu...
