White pages Adobe reader 19.021.20061

With large pdf pages +/- 100 we have the following problem since the December update.

Initially the entire pdf page is displayed correctly.

If you go through the pdf and you scroll from a number of times down to the top (read through the document) then at some point adobe gets completely black. And a few moments later when the application responds again, a number of pages will be white. The strange thing is that not all pages are white but a few. This page used to contain text. I've tried the update from 19.021.200.61 but even in this version this still occurs. 2 of my colleagues have mentioned this and I know that there are several people.

Hi AirborneNL

We are sorry for the trouble. As described the pages go blank when you read through the document

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try to open a different PDF file and check.

Is the file saved locally on your computer hard disk or is it on a shared network drive? Please try to download the file to your computer and try again. You may also try to add the PDF file and the folder location to Adobe Reader. Go to Edit (Windows), Adobe Acrobat Reader (Mac) > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Add File and Add Folder Path and click ok and check.

You may also try to disable the security for testing purposes. Go to Edit (Windows), Adobe Acrobat Reader (Mac) > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Turn Off protected mode and Uncheck the Enhanced security > Click OK and Restart the application and check.

Note: Please turn On the security after testing.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards

Amal
