Why do letters overlap on my pdf doc?

I have created a newsletter in piktochart and find that when I download and view the document in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC some letters overlap. How can I fix this?

Ask the people who created the application you used to create the file. Reader is just a viewer. It can't edit or create PDF files on its own.
