Hi,

I desperately need help to understand why fonts are being different in Acrobat Reader when converting from a PowerPoint? I'm using Helvetica Neue so no unusual font. If you look closely to the attached image it is very wobbly. Using a Mac, what to do?

Thanks for helping out. KR Malin

Hey Malina,

We apologize for the delay in response to your query.

How exactly you have converted your original Powerpoint to PDF? Looking at your account information, we don't see that you are using any Adobe subscription to create pdf.

Are you saving ppt file to .pdf using "Acrobat" ribbon available at the top menu bar, or using "Save As Adobe PDF"? If none, then saving a .ppt file as .pdf is an inbuilt feature of Microsoft. Since it has a different mechanism of creating PDFs,so Adobe doesn't have any hold on it.

I suspect the font is missing (not installed) or not embedded, so its not being displayed correctly as a result. If you have Acrobat, then try creating pdf from ppt using Acrobat ribbon at the top and see the result.

Regards,

Akanchha
