Word for MAC 2016 file can't save as PDF.

When trying to save a word document as a PDF I continually get an error. I use File save as in word. I have never had this happen before. I am using Macbook Pro 10.10.5 Yosemite. This only started happening recently when I upgraded creative cloud software.

Same problem.  I solved it by using a short file name.  The WORD file name was long and had a "+" in it and could not be converted.  Changing to a one-word file name worked.

Thanks Adesh, the steps provided in the link are exactly what I did. This is strange because I have never had a problem saving a word document as PDF. I click file save as choose pdf as the format then get an error that I can't save the file. I am running Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2015.008.20082
