Hello, I had the adobe dc free trial and once that ended i downloaded the reader because I only need to read docs and now neither of the programs open and nothing happens when i click a pdf. ive tried uninstalling and installing and still nothing. i tried to chat with a rep but the said they dont provide support for reader anymore.
Can you confirm the operatiing system you are using?
Also, can you confirm if you can open a pdf if you start Acrobat Reader, and from Fole>Open you select a file?
If this works, you might need to adjust the file extension association. That's the Prefences/ControlPanel element where you setup a link between the pdf extension and Acrobat reader
