Acrobat Reader XI Ver. 11.0.20 update issue

Hello All,

I have updated my Adobe Reader from Ver 11.0.2 to 11.0.20 and when I checked again for more updated It got downloaded but when I tried to install I am receiving below error.

Could anyone please suggest what will be the issue here. I had temporary disabled the Anti Virus but that doesn't help.

Any help would be very great.

You could always download and apply patches yourself. (I'm surprised if the built-in updater still works at all.) Here is a link to the final 11.0.23 cumulative update (assuming Windows): ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/11.x/11.0.23/misc/. If you wanted an earlier version, click "Up to higher level directory." (Note: 11.0.22 was noncumulative, so 11.0.21 would have to be applied first.)

That is the only genuine link. As we said the site is not reliable. So try at intervals on different Days. Just worked for me.

Got it, It was issue with me companies security policies which prevent me to access that link.

I cannot and will not give specific issues (attackers use this info). But all the time new security issues are found.

Acrobat Reader XI reached end of life in October 2017. End of life means really, the end. No more fixes.

So any new security issues found after October 2017 will never be fixed in 2017. You should ask yourself how to balance your business needs and the risk you choose to run, as a result of having unknown security weaknesses that you choose not to fix.
