Adberdr 11008_en_us.exe fails to install in XP SP3

The PC is not connected to the internet, installer exe is about 75MB.
"Preparing installation" window opens

Extracting install files progress bar is active.

Window disappears when at or near 100%.

No further activity, no msg, no error, no program installed.

Any suggestions?
