Hi Team,

Adobe acrobat DC could not open PDF documents on my computer. When looked at task manager, multiple instances of acrobat reader keeps on running.

When those processes/instances are ended, documents get opened. This is happening on frequent basis.

The application has been uninstalled using AdobeAcroCleaner_DC2015.exe and reinstalled again (app version AcroRdrDC1901220034), still facing same issue.

Please assist.

Please try to update the application to the latest version 19.12.20036. Go to Help > Check for Updates. To know more about the latest version available you may please refer to the link - DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

Let us know if that works for you

    Hi,

The issue is inconsistent. The latest update AcroRdrDCUpd1901220036.msp has been installed on machine. Need to verify if issue reoccurs.

what could be the reason to get error "The operation failed. An object could not be found" while opening PDF attachment from an outlook email?

The file can be opened in acrobat reader when saved on desktop but not directly through email.

    Looks like a Outlook problem.

    What's your operating system?

So after you close all instances of the application and then double-click a PDF file, what happens?

And what happens if you open the application on its own and then open a file from within in (using File - Open, for example)?
