Hi,

I need help on my adobe acrobat reader DC which constantly gave me a pop-up saying adobe has stopped working. Steps I've taken on trying to fix it are uninstall it and reinstall it again. But it stills gave me same pop-up. I'm using Windows 10. What is wrong with it? and how do fix this?

Thanks.

Hi,

We have released an update today that fixes this issue. This update will be automatically applied to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader DC. You can also open Acrobat or Reader DC and visit Help > Check for updates to make sure you are on the latest patch.

Details about the release: Acrobat Help | Release notes | Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader DC | Update

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

There is a solution for the compatibility issue of Adobe Acrobat DC in windows 10, through a changing compatibility mode in adobe acrobat reader.

If the previous method not resolve the issue, it maybe, related to security issue, and you can resolve it by disable enhanced security in app setting.

You can watch this video to see how to do that:

Hi lydiatay02,

Try to change the compatibility settings for Reader and see if that changes this behavior:

1- Close Reader

2- Locate Reader shortcut on desktop>right click>select Properties>under Compatibility tab>check the box Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows 7 from the drop down options>click Apply>OK

3- Relaunch Reader.

Could you please confirm the version of Reader installed on your machine?

To check the version, launch Reader>click Help menu>select About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
