I already searched online for a Solution for the Problem also regarding the shown ntdll.dll in the Log and tried several approaches

- i tired a repair install (this also crashes)

- i tried uninstall and reinstall it

- i tried uninstall it with the "Adobe Reader and Acrobat Reader Toll" and then reinstalling it

- i diabled "protected mode" through the registry

- i searched for any third party plugins

- i cleared all the cache data in Program Files/Programs (x86) and the AppData Folder

nothing helped so far. Hope Somebody of you guys can help me.

best regards

Hello.

Do you have Windows 10 updated to version 1803?

For me, this error occurs since the update.

Also occurs on installed Acrobat DC:

Right-click on a PDF. You have to wait forever until the page menu opens.

Hi Ml,

Please try following troubleshooting steps:

1- Reboot the machine if you haven't already and try again.

2- If that doesn't work, run Reader as administrator - Run an Adobe program as administrator | Windows 7, Vista

3- If step 2 doesn't work, check if compatibility mode is checked for Reader. If it is, uncheck it and try launching Reader again. You may refer to this link for more on compatibility mode: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/15078/windows-make-older-programs-compatible

Thank You,

Shivam
