Adobe Reader prompts for font package add-on

Adobe Reader prompts to install a font package in order to view the document I have been working on without problems for the past week.  I need to click OK to be redirected to the download area, but when I click OK nothing happens.

Actually, they are but FTP is blocked. Anyway, they are for old versions of the app so probably not relevant 8 years later.

You could try to download and install it manually; here is the download page for the extended font pack for Reader XI on Windows: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5508

Thanks! In the end the helpdesk fixed it, by installing indeed the

Chinese (or Asian) language pack. Still have no idea why that is of any

use, since I write in English.

If you are able to share your file, we might be able to help you find out why. Bear in mind that everyone reading your PDF will have the same problem.
