I can’t copy anything, I have checked the security and I have permission in every doc. It’s all doc not just one. Can’t copy even when I have created the PDF.

You can copy from PDF file saved on your disk and opened by Acrobat Reader. This should work also after downloading and opening the PDF file in your browser, but it doesn't work, which is an error I think and must be fixed ASAP. Is Adobe support reading this forum or is my opinion waste of time?

This is a user forum, although sometimes Adobe staff will reply as well. If you have a bug or feature request, though, the best place to post is UserVoice: Adobe Acrobat and Reader 2015 – Share your feedback on Acrobat DC where the engineers will see it and log it. You can also monitor and vote for issues.

To clarify:

Can you copy and paste from any PDF? Or is it just some?

Have you downloaded them? Or are they in a browser window?

Did they come from email? Outlook or Gmail or other?

You used to be able to do this—can you think of what changed? Operating system? New version of Reader?

Can you still copy and paste from documents that you did previously?

Sorry, I made an other test and noticed that an attached PDF to an email and saved on my loaded files doesn't allow copy. I have down loaded many PDFs that can be opened for copy and paste. All have properties security copying allowed. It looks like this is a new feature of either Windows or Acrobat Reader. My versions are Windows 10 1803 17134.112 and Acrobat Reader 18.011.20040. I am using Windows Defender for protection. Where is an error and who must fix it and when Adobe/Microsoft?

The Windows version of the free Reader has a feature called Sandboxing, meaning you are working in a protected mode. I'm on a Mac, which does not have this feature. Read this link and see if it applies:

Protected View feature for PDFs (Windows), Adobe Reader
