I am trying to create a new pdf, and instead I get: "There is a problem with Adobe Reader, If it is running, ... Error (15:3)"... Please HELP me!!!

On a different attempt I got the same message with "Error (507:507)" at the end of it.

I am using Adobe Reader X1

Pat is correct. What software are you trying to use to create pdfs? Also let us know your OS.

OK, so I agree... Adobe Reader does not creat documents. My mistake.

I use a program that creates reports, which come out of the software as "pdf" documents. The software I use is a proprietary program called CoStar. Their support staff, stopped trying to help me, when they decided it was an "Adobe problem", and therefore not theirs.

    I use Windows 7, 64 bit.

Of course there is no one to talk to at Adobe, so here we are.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this, or a work-around?

    Thank you.

If your problem is caused by Adobe Reader, then you are in the right forum to get help.

How is this PDF being attempted to open; from your local disk, or inside your browser?  What browser & version?

Also, what is your Reader version?

    Thank you, Pat.

This is being opened through the browser.

The browser I use for that is Explorer 11, and my Adobe Reader version is X1.
