Is there a way I can access web service from Adobe Reader Javascript?

From the documentation i understood that i cant use SOAP in Adobe redaer without rights enabled for that document . 

The SOAP methods connect, request and response are available only for documents open in Acrobat Pro & Acrobat Standard and for documents with Form Export Rights open in Adobe Reader 6.0 or later. 

I would like to know is there is  any way i can make web service call to nodejs server.

Requirement :  Send a request and get response

Adobe created the SDK to sell software. That’s why most features are not in Reader. It would suit you but not suit Adobe’s business model.
