Sorry if it's wrong forum. It's so because I am new to this forum and I am confused and depressed.

1. I had Adobe Acrobat DC installed in my PC. I installed Acrobat Reader. The Adobe Acrobat DC disappeared from my PC after installation. Is this normal?

If not, then tell me where is Adobe Acrobat Reader?

Secondly, when I downloaded the setup of Acrobat Reader DC, then McAfee also came installed. It came inside the setup. I want to delete it ASAP or at least I want to know it's location in my PC. Please help

3. Some websites are showing that Adobe acrobat Reader DC is standard and Acrobat Reader is pro version.

Some websites are showing that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has both pro and standard versions. Please clear this confusion. If possible, please give some images so that I can match with mine.

Note: I have never installed pirated software.

4. Whenever I shift Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to non OS drive, a plugin error occurs. It's only running in OS Drive. Please help me with this.

I don't remember the exact name but it's something like: plugin not detected the {software name} will quit.

1. No, it's not, and it's probably not gone. It's probably just that Reader is now your default app for PDF files, instead of Acrobat. If you right-click a file and select Open With... you should still see it there.

Why would you install Reader if you have Acrobat, though? Acrobat can do everything Reader can, and much more...

2. To remove McAfee you need to use the Uninstall a Program command under Control Panel, assuming you're on Windows. This is an optional (supposedly) download you get with Reader.

3. There's only one version of Reader, and it's neither Pro or Standard, it's just Reader.

Acrobat has a Pro version and a Standard version. The former has more tools, but also costs more. The Standard version is only available for Windows, though.

4. Don't do that. It should be installed on the main drive (C, on Windows machines).

1. Because I was confused between names.

3. Yes, I am on  Windows. Can you list names of all Adobe PDF viewer on Windows.

4. So, how can I transfer the app on another PC if my device corrupts?

3. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (free version)

Adobe Acrobat Standard DC (subscription-based)

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (subscription-based)

Adobe Acrobat Standard 2020 (one-time purchase)

Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 (one-time purchase)

4. You need to install it from scratch. You can not move the application itself from one machine to another.
