Community Beginner ,
Oct 11, 2018 Oct 11, 2018

I just deinstalled and re-installed the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and as it was before the following happens:

DC is opened and a file prepared to print. when I open the window for preferences it shows this:

adobe screenshot.jpg

No slider, nothing to enlarge that window.

Can anybody help, please?

It is WIN 7 and Adobe is up to date.

Thank you!

Hello Florchen,

We're sorry for the trouble you had, what is the dot version of Adobe Reader installed? To identify the version, please take help from Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Are you getting the incomplete screen for all the sub-windows or only with Print Window? Open the Preferences Window from Edit>Preferences and check.

Reset the preferences once and reboot the machine, to reset the preferences, refer to How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

Navigate to Edit>Preferences>General>select 'Auto-Detect' under Scale for screen resolution(restart required).

If you still experience any issue, use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove Adobe Reader Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot the machine and install Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Once Adobe Reader installed, go to help>check for updates and install the latest patch 19.008.20074, reboot the machine and check.

let us know how it goes and share your observation.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
