Rafael Llavaneras

Hi Rafael,

By 'Activate Displacement' do you mean to enable scrolling as default when you open PDF?

If yes, you can try to set the 'Single page continuous' option under Page display in preferences.

To select that, launch the application and go to Edit menu > Preferences > Page Display.

Now select 'Single page continuous'  from the drop down of the Page layout at left.

Then click OK at bottom of the preference window to save the settings.Make sure that "Restore last view settings when reopening docume

To close the documents, you can use the 'X' icon at top right.

Or if you wish to just close the PDF not application, close the PDF tab from the top in the application window.

Please check the option shown in the screenshot below:

Dear Meenakshi, good evening.

Thank you for your prompt and explanatory answer.

First I was kind of confused because I use the spanish version of the Preference Menu, but sooner rather than later I found how to do that.

I also thank you for explaining about to close the file. I will use the option with the file name on in. Seems more useful.

I really appreciate your help.

Yours truly,
