Hello - I am hoping someone can help.
We have a server that has about 100 users that access it. On the server I have the latest Adobe Reader DC. I am trying to find a way to have the default view for anyone who accesses a pdf on that server, have the document open at 100%. Currently, documents open at 175%.
So I went into Adobe Reader DC, went to Edit>Preferences and changed the Default Layout and Zoom and changed the Zoom to 100% and changed the Resolution to Use System Settings. But it did not work for anyone accessing documents over that server.
So i didn't know if there was another setting I am missing or if there is a custom script that I could put on the server to make documents show at 100%.
Any help would be truly appreciated.

What sort of client/server relationship do you have?

We have a Citrix environment. We actually have 10 Citrix servers that we use. But if I can find a solution for just one server, then I can implement on the other ones.

Ok. Each user has their own preferences.

No they don't because the pdfs open within another program. It it a piece of medical software that they are using. They open attachments like ekg's, etc, which open, but DC doesn't open as a separate program. That is the problem...if DC opened as a separate program, then I could make adjustments. But since it doesn't, I didn't know if there was some sort of script or something that can be "plugged into" DC or on the server to make the pdfs' open 100%

Hi Gacapp,
Do you have windows 10 operating system on those servers?
If yes, have you had a chance to check this: Managing the Default PDF Handler on Win 10 for Enterprise Administrators | Adobe Installation and Li... Also, check this discussion:Re: Installing Pro DC and DC Reader - Make Reader default Viewer for all users
Let us know how it works.

They still should be able to start Reader and set preferences.
