I was editing a pdf using Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro DC when as I was scrolling to the top to review the file, all of the text on a majority of the pages has been deleted. None of the pages that I was editing were deleted, except the pictures on a couple of them. Now I'm trying to save the document and it says "The document could not be saved. An unexpected network error occurred." What do I do? Is it possible to get the text back? It was a 37 page document and now 25 pages of text have been deleted.

Hello,
We're sorry for the trouble you had. There is no such Adobe product "Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro DC". We have the freeware Adobe Reader DC desktop application and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
With Adobe Reader DC, you cannot edit a PDF file. You can edit a PDF file with Acrobat Pro DC. Are you using Acrobat Pro paid version or the freeware Adobe Reader? To identify the product and it's version, please refer to the Adobe article Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
Are you referring to adding comments Use annotation and drawing markup tools to add comments in PDFs, Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader in a PDF which is possible with Adobe Reader and Acrobat Pro, or trying to edit a PDF using Acrobat Pro DC?
Are you trying to fill a PDF form?
Is it a Mac or Windows machine and what is the version of OS installed?
For the error, you may refer to the following Adobe discussions "The document could not be saved. A file error has occurred."
The Document Could Not Be Saved. An Unexpected Network Error Occurred.
We're here to help, just need more info.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.

Hello,
I just found this post. I am using Adobe Acrobat PRO DC (32 bit).
Over the last few months I have had many crashes of the software, may error messages, no memory cannot save type messages, etc
Last night I was working on a file and most of my text was delete. The logo on main page comprised of text was deleted, leaving only the outline of the black box.
4 pages of images were left but now I do not know if file is corrupted.
The intro to this file(after the title page) was 99.9% wiped out leaving only the edit boxes.
Can you please help?
