I'm trying to convert my magazine on Publisher to a pdf. All the pictures are on publisher except when I save as a pdf. How do I correct this? My printer needs a pdf to print it...

Hi Websurfer,
We apologize for the delay in response to your query.
As description given above, in this scenario the result of the pdf file is completely depends on how exactly the pdf was created.
You said the you are saving the magazine on publisher as a .PDF document. Saving a file as .PDF might not give the accurate result.
Use "Create PDF" feature to generate the PDF file. Refer to the help document mentioned below, where its explained how you can create a .PDF file online or using the desktop application Adobe Reader DC
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Akanchha

I don't think PDF Pack supports "Publisher" files.
At any rate, if you are converting from Publisher, you are probably using the Microsoft PDF generator and not an Adobe product. You'll want to talk to them.

Same problem - even when using the "Create PDF" feature. It will work fine again and again, but then when I make another revision and try to create the PDF again, some of the images disappear. Compressing the images does not help.

Try compressing the photos in publisher before saving to pdf (click on an image, click on the Picture Tools: Format tab, click on compress pictures). This worked for me, maybe it might work for someone else.

Had this problem today and found the simplist solution. The error message was not clear (read it)
%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%% Lato-Regular not found, using Courier.
%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: xshow ]%% Stack: [90 55 85 84 79 55 54 77 38 102 84 84 55 78 65 65 0]
%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%
However, one word "Lato" was the key to my solution. Turns out although many fonts are useable in publiher, they are NOT RECOGNIZED by Adobe and just changing the font to minion pro (or any found in Adobe text) it converted without issue.
Hope this helps, I often do more harm trying to fix things when a solution is rather simple...
