Using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC OFFLINE

I tried to use my Adobe Acrobat Pro DC to rotate and crop a PDF file, but kept getting directed to online stuff.  I just want to use my paid software with the ease and privacy that I used Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.  Is this possible or do I need to find a different software.  I spent more than 20 minutes with some AI on the chat, before being frozen out. 

Any suggestions woudl be appreciated.  If Adobe Acrobat Pro DC cannot deliver, does anyone have any recommendations for something else?
