Why are screenshot lower borders missing when viewed in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC but are ok when viewed with Chrome or Microsoft Edge?

Hi,

My FrameMaker 2017 files are exported to pdf on a notebook that runs Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (version 10.0.1734 build 17134). The only problem is that the lower borders of my screenshots are missing if I view them with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (Continuous Release, version 2019.008.20081, latest updated installed). If I open the same pdf file using Chrome or Microsoft Edge, the issue does not persist: the blue borders are visible. For the absent screenshot borders to become visible in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I need to apply zoom (at least 180%). To illustrate, I am attaching 2 images of the cropped and good screenshots.Image_cropped_lower_border.PNGImage_ok_lower_border.PNG

I have experimented with the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC settings as suggested in similar posts (e.g., by deselecting the option 'Smooth Line Art' and 'Smooth Images') and was able to get the missing blue line back without zooming everything. However, the quality of the screenshots also deteriorated.

Does anyone have any idea why this unintentional cropping of screenshots is happening?

Thanks and best regards,

Maria
