Windows 10 Reader will not open

Question

Hi, I have the same (?) problem as someone else. I was reading a book in Reader( EPUB) yesterday and today reader won't open. Not open anyway, : double click, ,: right click and hit open, run as admin, won't open.

I have rebooted the system twice, I have deleted the program and reinstalled it from Adobe, I have tried to download another book and it won't download.

I know it deleted the first since the shortcut disappeared. and it was no longer in programs. Where do I go from here? stevelaf@aol.com

All my other programs are working, just not adobe reader Any suggestions?

I have a similar problem WITH Reader DC 19.008.20071. Reader DC closes spontaneously after 15 seconds. There is no error message. The process in task manager disappears so there is no way to send a dump. Also, I checked and protected mode is OFF and I have executed EULA.EXE and accepted the agreement without changing the problem behavior. I uninstalled and reinstalled Reader DC - same problem. There is no previous version available for Windows 7, 8, and 10. I am using Windows 10.
