Adobe Acrobat X Pro quits and asks for serial number

Explorer ,

I recently had to re-install a previous version of Acrobat (X pro) due to DC bugs and incompatibilities. Now every day, when i first boot the application it quits and asks for a serial number, which i have, I enter the number, the program works for the rest of the day, then same thing happens the next day. I am running creative suite CC 2015 as well, all on Mac OS X 10.10.5

Any idea how i can get Acrobat to not quit and ask for number every day?

Hi gerber914,

Please Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat software :- How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.

Then go to system library /Applicatin Support /Adobe / Slcache, rename this folder to Slcacheold .

Then there will be another folder name with Slstore , please rename this folder to Slstoreold.

After that launch the application & check .

If issue still persist, then create a new user account with the Admin rights on Mac, login to the new user account & then check for same behavior to replicate the issue .

Regards,

Yatharth
